Gibbs Nets

The proper net can make the difference between landing the catch of a lifetime or experiencing disappointment of what may have been. Similar to all fishing tackle choices, different nets have different applications. Gibbs offers a wide variety of nets that are suitable for virtually all situations.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT NET

Your Gibbs net should match the typical size of fish you hope to catch. We recommend your net be able to handle the largest fish in the species you are targeting. This ensures you are well prepared to land the big one! The depth of the net bag is just as important as its length. Larger fish need a deeper bag; smaller fish are better handled in a shallower bag. No angler wants to have excess net bag material get in the way while trying to handle a fish, or worse yet, not a big enough net to handle the fish. (Although we suspect few anglers would complain that a fish is too big!)
