"My name is Capt. John Badger . The only charter boat in the San Francisco Bay who trolls for California Halibut. The Gibbs Nortac #3 silver dodger has been a favorite of mine for years. Good whip, good flash and just so irresistible to halibut. The Gibbs #3 Dodger has caught at least 3 times more halibut than any other make or model. I use 6 dodgers on my boat. "I am a firm believer of your #5 FST. Once a year in late August the Thompson river near where I live opens for salmon fishing for one month. I tried everything and I just couldn't land a fish. Finally near the end of the season I was talking to this old fisherman on a nearby bridge just as he landed a 24lb Chinook. He was not too impressed at the size to my amazement. I looked at the shiny orange FST hooked in it's mouth. I had to get that magical lure as soon as I could, sure enough I caught a 32lb Chinook a day before the season closed wow what a fight! The next year I caught four more on the same lure all in the 20-30lb range. Thanks Gibbs!!"
