Hi my name is Alix Gillies. I am a typical local island girl born and raised in Campbell River. My father was the fishing guide that got me hooked on fishing but it wasn't until I met my husband that we really got into it. Now we have our own charter company, our own Grady-White and all our own Gibbs Fishing Gear.
My go-to tackle is usually of the green and white variety. The Outfitter or Irish Cream spoon the Herring Aid or White Splatterback Hoochie paired with a green onion or a purple haze flasher. But you can't go wrong with any of it. Just get a line and a pole and get out there. Tight lines!
