About me:
I was born and raised on Vancouver Island and was introduced to fishing at a young age. Growing up on the Cowichan River, I did a lot of fresh water fishing. Once I got a bit older, I was introduced to Salmon fishing in Port Renfrew by my dad and my uncle.
In my late teens, I started Salmon and Halibut fishing on my own with friends and family every chance I got. It became a big part of my life; consuming most of my summers. I started sharing my experiences with others via social media.
Once I started sharing my photos, I began meeting other people with common interests in the fishing community around Vancouver Island. In 2014, I discovered Bamfield. Fishing around Bamfield opened the door for me to start guiding and showing others what I’m truly passionate about.
Fishing is more than just a hobby for me, it’s a lifestyle. I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been given through fishing. I never thought fishing would take me as far as it has, so keep your tip up!
