About me:
Having been born and raised in Victoria, fishing has been a big big passion for me since a very young age. I have been fortunate to have a father and grandfather involved in the sportfishing industry. At a young age I was introduced into the sport and I was hooked!
Over the last 5 years or so I started sharing photos of my fishing experiences and adventures on social media and I greatly enjoy seeing others photos as well. Along with responsible and ethical fishing, I believe strongly in giving back to the natural resources we all benefit from through various salmon enhancement and restoration projects. I am a member of the Goldstream Salmon Hatchery and enjoy getting out there as often as I can. It’s a very rewarding feeling to see where our hatchery fish come from and what we can all do to improve stocks.
I am very fortunate and grateful for the skills I’ve learned, experiences I’ve had and people I’ve made connections with through sportfishing. Gibbs Fishing is quite clearly connected to many great professionals in the fishing industry and I look forward to meeting more people and learning more every day.
Favourite Gibbs Fishing Product:
Although it’s hard to pick one, my favourite Gibbs Fishing product has to be the entire line up of Skinny G spoons. Where I fish primarily in Oak Bay, the bait is typically small needle fish. The Skinny G spoons are unbeatable for matching the bait with their size, glow or nickel finish and very erratic action.
