About me:
I grew up exploring the outdoors. I started fishing local lakes and hiking into high alpine lakes as a teenager. The winter of 2013 was my first salmon experience in the saltwater. Since then my passion to fish for salmon in the saltwater has grown to be my main outlet for recreational fishing opportunities. I started fishing for winter Chinook out of my Little Jon boat every day after work and now it has evolved into something great. I love fishing because it is my way of slowing down and taking time to release stress and be outdoors. Fishing has provided me with many different opportunities from seeing people catch their first salmon, sharing tips and tricks, meeting new people, enjoying time with friends, and bond with my growing family. One of my favorite parts of fishing is the bonding time with my family during a meal of fresh salmon that nature provided. Now that my daughter has been joining us in the boat it will be great to teach her about fishing, conservation, and wildlife.
