Rene's reflections on the season reveal a remarkable journey of growth and exploration in ocean fishing. Having recently moved to the coast, she found satisfaction in mastering the art of ocean fishing, discovering ideal depths, and understanding the preferences of various fish species. Rene's preferred fishing spot, right in front of her house, became a honey hole for flounder in the 80-120 feet range. Okeover Arm emerged as a new favorite spot, where the elusive Stary flounder and blue king were reeled in, making the journey worthwhile. Undeterred, Rene expresses eagerness to explore even more new spots in the upcoming season.
