About Me
I have fished the waters of British Columbia for over a decade and have guided central Vancouver Island, as well as the Queen Charlotte Islands in the Haida Gwaii.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, I started my guiding career at the age of 12 as a freshwater lake guide catching walleye, northern pike, and bass with my clients on Dogtooth Lake in Northwestern Ontario. Eager and enthusiastic to learn the ways of salmon fishing after moving to the West Coast, I became involved in the fishing community on Vancouver Island, fishing the ocean for salmon and bottom fish and the river systems for salmon and trout.
I am an active member of the Sport Fishing Institute of BC and fully certified through Transport Canada. As a knowledgeable, professional angler and owner-operator of Andrew's West Coast Adventures, I will ensure you have the experience of a lifetime on the water.

My top pick hootchies are anything with a mix of UV and glow, which are guaranteed to catch a variety of fish in my areas.
